Throughout the pandemic, we have followed state and county guidelines for meetings. Currently, we expect everyone to wear a mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Please do this for the well-being of others.

We have resumed live Sunday morning Bible classes for all ages. Classes begin at 9am. Our adult Bible class meets in the auditorium and is entitled “Come Together.” The class focuses on the various “one another” passages from teh New Testament and is designed to encouraged us to find strength and connection within our community of faith.

This small group is applicable for gardeners at all levels and gardens of all sizes. The group will meet virtually via Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month.

Fifth Commandment Small Group (Class via Zoom)

The fifth commandment tells us to “Honor your father and mother.” How do we do that in our adult lives as our parents age, face health challenges, and live hundreds or even thousands of miles away? We don’t have all of the answers, but if these questions resonate, you might want to join us via Zoom for the “Fifth Commandment” group. We meet the last Tuesday of each month to share concerns and challenges regarding our aging parents. We pray for and support one another through the journey.

Hungry / Thirsty Group (Class via Zoom)

Are you hungry and thirsty to grow in Christ and to build stronger relationships in Him? When life is normal and there is no pandemic, this group gathers for Christ-centered conversations, Bible Study based in the gospels, and prayer over dessert and coffee. The group also enjoys a monthly potluck together. Kids classes / childcare are provided on a rotating basis by group members. During the COVID-19 social distancing, however, the group meets on Wednesdays at 7pm via ZOOM to check in with one another, engage in discussion and prayer. If you would like to be added to the ZOOM discussion with this group, please contact the church office (office@conejochurch.org).

Archives: Gifts In The Church Study

During the month of January, 2004, the Conejo Valley Church adult education program engaged in a study of Gifts in the Church. Rick Marrs, longtime elder of the Conejo Church and professor of Old Testament at Pepperdine University, reviewed the biblical and historical context of the roles of men and women in their faith communities.

Due to the level of interest expressed regarding these classes, we have made them available both in audio and PDF formats. If you are interested, click here.
