Adult Education During COVID-19

Throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite you to join us for virtual worship as a community on our YouTube Channel each Sunday morning at 10am.

Because of health concerns and our desire to work as a community to help slow the spread of this disease, we currently do not have  Sunday morning Bible Class offerings. However, throughout the course of the week we offer a variety of opportunities for members to meet safely in a variety of settings to study together, pray together, encourage one another, and grow in faith and hope.

Middle School Pod

This pod meets weekly at the home of Travis M. (masked, outside, and socially distanced) for a time of study, reflection, prayer, and fellowship. The meeting is from 4pm through 5:30pm on Sundays.

Hard Pressed But Not Crushed (Class via Zoom)

A Class on Resilience in Challenging Times. This LONG season of the pandemic has brought many challenges to the world. Our Conejo community has certainly not been exempt. How can our faith, our church family, and our practices sustain us? Throughout history, God’s people have endured many trials, remained faithful, and allowed their faith to provide an anchor. How can we do that? This very practical class will include some instruction and some discussion as we encourage each other in resilience.

The class meets weekly on Sundays from 4pm to 5pm January 17 through and February 7 and is led by Connie H.

Monday Night Women’s Bible Study (Class via Zoom)

Join a group of Conejo women via Zoom each Monday at 7pm to pray, encourage one another, engage in study and discussion together. The book chosen by the group for the winter quarter is Embracing God’s Grace: A Study of Colossians and Philemon by Elizabeth George. If you are interested in participating, please contact the church office ( or Paula M. for a link for the weekly meeting. Archives: Gifts In The Church Study

During the month of January, 2004, the Conejo Valley Church adult education program engaged in a study of Gifts in the Church. Rick Marrs, longtime elder of the Conejo Church and professor of Old Testament at Pepperdine University, reviewed the biblical and historical context of the roles of men and women in their faith communities.

Due to the level of interest expressed regarding these classes, we have made them available both in audio and PDF formats. If you are interested, click here.
