Chandler Darby

Chandler began serving as the Youth Minister at CVCC in the summer of ’25. He and Yvonne have been married since 2017 and have two vibrant children: Banks and Luci (although, you may hear them called by various nicknames that just seem to have bubbled out of their parents: “Banksaroni,” “Banksaroo,” Lulu-bean,” and “Luchador” are a few examples). Chandler holds a BFA in acting from the University of Northern Colorado and an MDiv from Pepperdine University. He’s a coffee aficionado, loves running, and believes in the spiritual power of analog.

Amber Johnson

Amber attended Pepperdine University and earned a BA in Liberal Studies in 1999. In 2002, she married Jeremy and they have been blessed with four sons. Amber has been a classroom teacher, a mentor teacher, and a substitute teacher. She enjoys volunteering at her boys’ schools, cheering for her boys on the field and the court, and spending time with family and friends.

Rene Heard

Rene joined the office team in March 2006. She grew up on a farm in Alabama. Rene attended college at Abilene Christian University and received a BA in Biblical and Related Studies. She married Chris in 1990 and worked as a legal secretary in Dallas while Chris pursued his degree in Religious Studies. Chris and Rene have two sons: Nathan and Nicholas. Rene’s hobbies include quilting, scrapbooking, gardening, writing, and spending time with family and friends.

Andy Wall

Andy has been married to the former Carrie Giboney since 1988, and they have been blessed with three beautiful daughters: Jenna, Jessica, and Michaela. Andy has served as the preaching minister for Conejo since January 2001. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Abilene Christian University and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Andy enjoys people, reading, music, technology, travel, and running.
