On Friday, April 10, you’re invited to gather virtually for a Good Friday Tenebrae service at 9pm. Tenebrae is a Latin word that means “darkness” or “shadows.” The service comes from an ancient tradition and is an extended meditation on the passion (or sufferings) of Christ. You’re invited (though by no means required) to have five lit candles to help facilitate your experience of this service of worship.

To access this online gathering, you’ll need internet service, a computer or smart phone, and Zoom (which is a free downloadable program/app for virtual gatherings). If you’re not on the church email list, you’ll also need to get a link from office@conejochurch.org.

We hope you’ll join us as we experience the shared remembrance of one of the central events of the Christian faith, the crucifixion of Jesus the Messiah.
