We are thankful to be present with one another and in community again. We invite all to recommit to being present with this church family for Bible classes and worship on a weekly basis in 2025. Your presence, thoughts, journey of faith, and encouragement matter to this body of believers! Masks are welcome but not required. We look forward to worshiping, learning, serving, and growing as a part of Christ’s family in the Conejo Valley this year. Let’s make commitment to God and God’s community a priority this year.
Crafty Women. CVCC Women of all ages are invited to spend 4-6 hours together once per month at the church building. Enjoy an extended time of deepening friendships with one another while making progress on current craft project(s) or hobbies of choice.
The next Crafty Women Event of 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, beginning at 12pm.

Youth Ministry Family Potluck: A Youth Ministry Family Potluck is scheduled to follow the worship service on Sunday, January 26. This will be a time for parents, teens, and leadership to share a meal and work through details involving calendar items, events, classes, service projects, and preparation for the summer mission trip. Plan to be present to be part of the discussion and planning as we need to work out details, divide jobs, and aim for a wonderful 2025 together!
Hiking Trails Ministry. The Conejo Hiking Trails Ministry hikes once per month (the third Saturday) in the Ventura County area. Hikers of all levels are welcome. The focus is fun, faith, fitness, friendship, and fellowship while enjoying the beautiful gifts that God has given us in the areas that surround us.
Details for each month’s hike will be shared through the weekly Family News bulletin and through the CVCC FB page.
January 18 — Carpinteria Seal Rookery; beginning at 10am
March 22 — Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura. Hikers will meet at the toddler playground at 10am. This hike is good for all ages (babies and strollers welcome)!

Or, if you prefer to make cards at home to share, please be sure to get your creations to Haylie by Sunday, February 9. Everyone benefits from words of love and encouragement!
Moms Better Together. This group is designed for moms of all ages and life stages. Moms are invited to gather at the church building from 5:45 to 7:45pm to share a meal and have time to encourage one another.

Come spend a day worshiping and learning how to strengthen our bonds of love even as we honor each other’s distinctive role in God’s kingdom. Kindy De Long will be our featured speaker. Join us on Saturday, March 15. We will begin at 9am and wrap up by 4pm. Lunch and a light breakfast will be included. Please register for Mosaic of Love by March 9.

Ideas for specific ways to engage more deeply in service or personal reflection during the days leading to Easter will be available through the 40-Day Commitment Sheet.
