We look forward to worshiping, learning, serving, and growing as a part of Christ’s family in the Conejo Valley throughout the coming spring and summer in 2026. We have many opportunities to worship God together and serve people. 

CVWM Dinner. Each quarter women of all ages and life stages are invited to come to share a meal together, deepen friendships, hear from one another, and grow in a deeper understanding of one another’s journeys as Christ’s followers. The meeting will take place from 6pm through 7:30pm on Friday, April 10. Childcare will be provided. Sign ups will be out soon. Mark your calendars!

Hiking Trails Ministry. The Conejo Hiking Trails Ministry which is organized by Jon and Lynn Burke meets for a Saturday hike once every 8-10 weeks in the Ventura County area. Hikers of all levels are welcome. The focus is fun, faith, fitness, friendship, and fellowship while enjoying the beautiful gifts that God has given us in the areas that surround us.

The next scheduled hike is April 18 at 9am. Meet at the Sapwi Trials Community Park (2100 Scenicpark Street in Thousand Oaks. Doug Hurley will be leading this hike.

Crafty Women. CVCC Women of all ages are invited to spend 4-6 hours together once per month at the church building. Enjoy an extended time of deepening friendships with one another while making progress on current craft project(s) or hobbies of choice.

The next Crafty Women Event of 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, beginning at 1pm.

On Sunday, April 26, the teens in our youth ministry will lead us in our worship time on the last Sunday of April. Come, be encouraged by the youth, and offer them words of encouragement as they step into roles of leadership and sharing from their life and understanding of God’s work.

Memorial Day Picnic. On Monday, May 25, join us for Conejo’s annual Memorial Day picnic at Dover and Hendrix Park in Thousand Oaks. It is a day for fun, food, fellowship, and games with friends and family. The day will begin around 10am, with grilling at 11am, and lunch around noon.

Preparation for Summer Mission to Mexico.  There are several deadlines, requirements, and meetings for those who plan to participate in the summer mission trip with the Youth Group to Mexico.

  • All students and adults who plan to travel to Mexico this summer to build a house for a family will need to obtain a passport. Please start this process as soon as possible. The process can take several weeks.
  • Mission Team Meetings: are scheduled for February 22, March, 29,  May 31, and June 20.
  • Next Meeting is Sunday, May 31. Please attend!

Promotion Sunday. On Sunday, June 7, join us for Conejo’s annual Promotion Sunday. During our Bible class that morning, all classes will meet together. Children will be promoted to the next age-bracket of class. Our young people who are promoting from fifth grade to sixth grade will promote from the Children’s Ministry into the Youth Ministry. 

Celebrate our High School Graduates: Each year, the church hosts an evening to celebrate and honor the teens who are graduating from high school. All members of Conejo as well as the family and friends of the high school graduates are welcome to attend this evening. It will be an evening of fun celebration of life of the graduates as well as blessings from families at this important milestone for these young adults as they move from one chapter of life into the next.
